My Childhood Experiences

We experience many things right from our childhood. Childhood memories reminds us our childhood days. When we grow up, we miss childhood days very much. Like everyone’s childhood mine was full of pleasures, explorations, innocence.

I can remember some events from the age of three. When I was three years old, my parents would carry me up in their arms whenever I used to cry.
My grandmother used to oil throughout my body. Unlike other children I was calm and loved peace. My parents used to surprise when I was found still in same place they left me for a while. When I was four years old, the neighboring friends used to come to my house.

My father used to play music through radio. I used to dance with all my friends. Some elders gave me balloons and chocolates. When I remember those days I wish I could go back to the past. Childhood memories pull me when I see children playing in their own worlds.
Childhood is filled with innocence and exploration.

I used to wonder about all the things that I used to see. And I used to smile looking at toys that would run through a remote. I used to play video games when I turned eight. I was obedient and sincere. I used to obey my parents and studied well. I used to draw a lot during childhood.

Later on it shifted to writing poems and stories. I could not leave my parents even for a short time. I used to cry when a unknown face tried to carry me for a while.

I liked eating rice with milk and banana. I did not like meat so much. My parents used to take me wherever they used to go. I used to become happy when I was taken to new places. When my younger brother born I had become surprised.

My Aim in Life

Everyone constructs an aim in life. Different people have different aims. Developing aims helps to reach our destination. Some people are over ambitious and they aim higher. Some are simple and their aims are simple whereas few ones do not have aims in life.

The person without an aim is like a boat without a rudder. For successful and prosperous life, aims contribute immensely.
I consider myself as a simple person so my aim is also simple. I want to be a teacher and educate people. I think education is really the most necessary tool for self awareness and development of civilization. I want to uplift the lives of nepali people through education. There are much percent of people illiterate in my country. Consciousness develops with education. There is a large part of people in remote areas that is deprived of education. I am strongly yearning to commit my life imparting education.

Currently I am studying in class nine. After my SLC, I will study English and social studies as my major subjects. After I graduate in these subjects, I will apply in schools to be a teacher of social studies. I will teach the students on different topics like social institutions, development, social evils, governance, economic activities, political history and so on to aware them about the socio-economic condition of our country.

I will be determined and devoted towards my duty. I will encourage my students to excel their studies. I will teach them new things ongoing in our county and other foreign countries. I believe this world is ruled by information. I will try my best to provide lots of information to my students. If possible I will establish a school of my own in rural area. I will provide scholarships to needy and diligent students.

I will teach children life lessons along with book knowledge. As I have felt that education is an important infrastructure of development, I will be committed to impart quality education. My aim is simple. I am sure to achieve my aim as I am really determined and have deeply felt the crisis of education in many parts of the country.

My Daily Life

Everyone has his own way of spending daily life. Daily life also depends upon our profession. As I am student, my daily life is simple and common. I have prepared a daily routine that controls my daily life. I hope that most of the students have the same daily life.

I always wake up at 5:00 early in the morning. I spend half an hour for brushing, washing and bathing. I eat breakfast prepared by my mom. I go outside with my neighbors on morning walk for half an hour. Then I read the last chapters that teachers have taught me as revision. I read for around two hours in morning time. I also practice math’s problem and science numerical exercises. I believe that practice makes us perfect.

After eight, I iron my uniform and make it ready. I read a story or a poem for some minutes from a book of collection of short stories and poetry. When it strikes 9:00 in the clock I take my lunch and get prepared to go to school. I always reach school on time at quarter to ten.

I along with all my friends, elders and juniors make up an assembly where we sing National anthem and pray our school prayer. Our class begins at ten. We have eight periods in total to study different subjects. My first period commences with social studies. After the fourth period, we have a twenty minutes break for tiffin. The school ends at four. No sooner the school finishes, I head to my home tired and fatigued.

I clean my hands and limbs to get ready for snacks. Then I go to a nearby playground where my friends come to play football and sometimes cricket. We generally play for an hour. When it becomes 5:30pm I go back to my home and start doing my home works. I generally finish my home works in the evening and read books and notes in the morning. I always have my dinner at around 8:00pm. I take a rest for half an hour. During this time, I glance over some TV channels that are quite informative. Then I complete the remaining home works. If it’s over already I read novels and stories before going to bed. I go to bed at 10:00 pm every day.

On Saturdays and holidays my daily routine gets distracted. During these days, I read newspapers, magazines, and stories. I go out in parks with my friends sometimes. When the holidays are longer, I go to my relative’s home with my parents for some days. Sometimes I feel that I am really becoming a machine to have a strict time table. But I also believe that if we do everything on time, success will kiss us and we can lead a qualitative life.

My School

School is a place where people get education and knowledge. Schools are also the agents of socialization. It is an institution that educates children and teaches different life lessons. In primitive age, schools were in forms of ashrams which were considered as holy places. Schools in the today’s’ age are commercialized but provide more knowledge on short span of time.

The name of my school is Glacier International School. It is located in the heart of capital city, Kathmandu. It was established before sixteen years. It was primary school before eight years now it has turned into higher secondary school. My school is very big and famous in my locality. It has three buildings. One building has four storeys and the other two has two storeys. Between the three buildings, there is a big field.
There are 35 teachers in total. Most of them have master’s degree. The principal is a PhD. He is in his early fifties and is an experienced teacher. He gives more time in higher classes. My school’s vice principal is young and energetic. He encourages all his students to excel studies. He is also a good player of volleyball and tennis. Most of the teachers in my school are diligent, qualified and dexterous. Some of them have got training from international teachers.

My school runs a wall magazine and I am its sub-editor. There is a big playground where we play various games. My school organizes sports competition. There are more than 700 students in my school. As I am in class nine now, I have been studying here for nearly twelve years. I have made up my mind to give SLC exams from this school. My school has facilities of computer lab, games court, library, science lab and an audio visual room. My school also has good fame through the good result that comes in SLC exams. My school has genuinely given me a platform to widen my creativity and talents.

There are also different clubs like painting, singing, dancing, and instrumental etc where they can learn different skills they are interested in. My school is one of the best schools of my place. I have also an ambition to highlight my school in future through my humane deeds and extraordinary achievements. I feel like going school every day and I am grateful to be a student of this school.
